SOCHi understands that financing your education is one of the most important decisions you might face. We are here to help you in the process of securing the resources you will need to afford your chosen program of study leading to a new career in health & wellness as a massage therapist, physical therapy aide, personal fitness trainer or medical biller and coder.


Southern California Health Institute (SOCHi) is in the process of obtaining accreditation with its new accreditor, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET).

The U.S. Department of Education has recognized Southern California Health Institute as an institution in good standing and has stated that we remain provisionally accredited by the Department of Education. SOCHi has until June 12, 2018 to be accepted by a new accreditor and applications have been submitted to ACCET to support that transition. While SOCHi cannot guarantee it's acceptance by the June 2018 deadline, our applications are in process and we currently are on schedule to be accepted.

SOCHi is approved to operate as a vocational school in the state of California by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE).www.bppe.ca.gov

SOCHi is authorized to accept international students by the United States Department of Homeland Security.

SOCHi is authorized to accept veteran’s benefits by California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education (CSAAVE).

SOCHi is an authorized Regional Training Vendor for the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB).

Type of Aid Available

Students are offered, when eliligible, a combination of several types of aid. These may include federal grants, federal and loans, VA (Veteran Affairs) education benefits, and state funding for dislocated workers.

Financial Aid Policies

The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 requires that postsecondary institutions participating in federal student aid programs disclose information from various administrative areas to students.
